BBNaija Season 10: Housemates Lose Week 5 “Face Your Fears” Wager Task
The BBNaija Season 10 housemates faced one of their most challenging wager tasks yet this week, themed “Face Your Fears.” Unfortunately, despite the excitement, planning, and hard work that went into preparing their short plays, the housemates fell short and ultimately lost their Week 5 wager task.
The task, which was designed to push the housemates out of their comfort zones, required them to come up with an original spooky story and develop it into a 20-minute stage play.
The storyline was expected to follow a clear structure: the introduction of characters and their fears, a haunted setting filled with chilling events, a buildup of tension as characters confronted their deepest fears, and finally, a resolution highlighting courage and personal growth.
Housemates were split into two teams through a lucky dip box, and each group was tasked with creating a play title, compiling costume lists, and organizing props to bring their spooky ideas to life. They had just a few days to prepare, with the final presentations scheduled for Friday night.
On presentation day, both teams gave their all, but Biggie was far from impressed. According to him, the performances lacked depth, cohesion, and the level of creativity he had expected.
The haunting atmosphere fell flat, and some housemates struggled to stay in character, breaking the spooky flow of the play. While there were moments of brilliance, the overall execution did not meet the standard required for a winning wager.

As a result, Biggie ruled that the housemates failed their Week 5 wager. This means they will miss out on luxury provisions and will have to survive on a much tighter food budget in the coming week.
Losing a wager is always a hard pill to swallow in the BBNaija house, as it often leads to scarcity, tension, and heated arguments over food portions and sharing.
With food scarcity looming, the coming days in the house are bound to be tense. Will the housemates learn from their mistakes and take the next wager more seriously? Or will divisions and blame games worsen the atmosphere in the house?
