Team Original Wins Smirnoff Task in BBNaija Season 10 Week 9
The BBNaija Season 10 housemates had another exciting brand task in Week 9, as they competed in the Smirnoff Ice Task. The challenge was filled with energy, creativity, and teamwork as housemates were divided into three groups to battle it out across multiple games for the ultimate prize.
The Teams
- Team Pineapple: Sultana, Mensan, Zita, and Kaybobo
- Team Double Black: Isabella, Rooboy, Mide, Faith, and Kola
- Team Original: Koyin, Jason, Dede, and Imisi
Game 1: Opening Round
The task kicked off with the first challenge, and the teams set the pace with impressive efforts. At the end of Game 1, the scores stood as follows:
- Team Original – 20 points
- Team Double Black – 15 points
- Team Pineapple – 10 points
Game 2: Sorting
The competition grew tougher in the Sorting Game, with Team Original extending their lead. The scores after Game 2 were:
- Team Original – 40 points
- Team Double Black – 25 points
- Team Pineapple – 25 points
Game 3: Flavour Race
In this thrilling round, housemates had to race cars through a tricky track while avoiding Smirnoff cans. Any can hit had to be replaced before they could continue racing. The intensity of the task kept viewers glued to their screens.
Game 4: Signature Cocktail
The highlight of the Smirnoff task was the Signature Cocktail Challenge. Each team received a cocktail recipe card with three ingredients and three shopping coins to source them from the ingredients wall. However, there was a twist: each ingredient appeared twice one positive and one labeled “try again.” Picking the wrong one meant forfeiting a coin.
After shopping, mixologists from each team had just five minutes to prepare their cocktails, which were judged based on taste and the number of correct ingredients.
At the end of this fun and creative round, the final scores were announced:
- Team Pineapple – 55 points
- Team Double Black – 50 points
- Team Original – 75 points
The Winners
With an outstanding 75 points, Team Original (Koyin, Jason, Dede, and Imisi) emerged as the winners of the Smirnoff Ice Task.
